Sometimes refered to as the "Summer Poinsettia" for its colorful foliage. The upper leaves are a bright splash of scarlet and yellow over deeper leaves of green and chocolate brown; no two plants are alike. A very vigorous grower, it shoots up in a straight, columnar habit, making it perfect for the back of a border or as a mass planting. It is also quite tollerant of water requirements, being able to withstand both droughts and damp, but not soggy, soil.
