Coreopsis grandiflora (Coreopsis ‘Heliot’)

Life: Perennial

Size: 18-20"

Light: Full Sun

Water: Average, Well Drained, Drought Tolerant Once Established

Soil: Neutral Sandy Loam to Clay Loam

Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner in 2004. This perennial is covered with an abundance of single, 2½" sunny yellow flowers with brown centers. Unlike most Coreopsis, this variety flowers within the first year of planting. Blooms appear in early summer. Its compact, 18-20", uniform habit makes it an excellent container plant as well as garden choice. Easy to grow, it is drought tolerant once established and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It forms a clump that benefits from being divided every 2-3 years.
