Cosmos bipinnatus (Cosmos ‘Daydream’)

Life: Annual

Size: 30-36"

Light: Full Sun

Water: Dry to Average, Good Drainage, Somewhat Drought Tollerant Once Established

Soil: Mildy Acidic to Neutral, Poor Sandy Loam to Loam

This outstanding variety has palest pink to white flowers with medium pink throats surrounding a yellow center. It blooms from late spring through the summer. A semi-dwarf variety, it will grow to 30-36" tall with very finely cut foliage. Give it plenty of sun and good drainage. It is an excellent cutting flower and attracts butterflies to the garden. In the summer, when the plants are producing more seed pods than flowers, cut the plants back slightly and they will flush back into bloom in no time.
