Light: Full Sun

Water: Dry to Average, Good Drainage, Somewhat Drought Tollerant Once Established

‘Picotee’ is a beautiful cosmos with large 2½-3" white flowers edged in magenta. It is a good background plant that grows 48" tall with airy, finely cut foliage. A native of Mexico, it prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny position, with protection from wind. The perfect summer cottage garden flower, cosmos attract lots of butterflies and are excellent cutting flowers — the more you cut, the faster new buds form to replace them. If not using as cut flowers, be sure to dead-head them on a regular basis to keep buds coming. Plant them in full sun in well-drained soil.
